Wilson County Veterans Service Office & Veterans Museum

About Our Office

The Wilson County Veterans Service Office is dedicated to serving the veterans of Wilson County and their families with unwavering dignity, respect, and compassion. Our mission is to be the steadfast advocate for veterans and their eligible dependents, ensuring they receive the quality care, benefits, and recognition they rightfully earned through their service to our nation. We are committed to guiding veterans through the complexities of the Veterans Affairs system, advocating for their entitlements, and fostering a supportive environment that honors their sacrifices.

Our office provides comprehensive services, including claims assistance, appeals, VA healthcare enrollment, and home visits. We request VA home loan certificates of eligibility, support emergent housing through the No Vet Left Behind program, and provide representation in drug court. Additionally, we assist with military records requests, discharge upgrades, burial preregistration, and notary services. By fostering connections through outreach and the Veteran Resource Network, we ensure that every veteran and their family can access the resources and support they need to thrive.
